Writing, the Future, and Picture of the Past

Sat Jan 15, 2005, 12:22 PM
Well, damn, I can never seem to keep my focus here. I really need to do this, not just for posting, but because I NEED to write. I've fallen out of the habit and it is starting to hurt.

I am learning Tarot, but I am stuck a little due to the fact that I now need to learn astrological dates. Never was I good at those. I should have learned them a long time ago when all the other kids did. But then, it bored me.

But seriously, I am learning more than just Tarot. I am learning Divination through Tarot, Runes, Coins (I-Ching), and I also would like to learn Palmistry, Tea Leaves, and Ogham. Not sure why in hell I want to learn these all, but I do. So I will.

On another note, my wife and I just purchased three 250 watt photo lamps with 6 foot stands. Also need to get some filters and some diffusers, but we are slowly building up our equipment so we can make our own small photo studio.

My wife is even teaching me a little about photography so that I can do it. People tell me I have an okay eye for shots, and I tend to have some wicked ideas, so I get to see where they will go.

We also plan to create our own darkroom. Mel said she would teach me how to develop my own photos. What do I say to that? Woo Hoo.

Going better. Tonight I am expecting one last call from my Anesthesiologist. They get to ask me all the fun questions. Do I have any allergies. Has anyone in my familiy had adverse reactions to this or that. Then, tomorrow morning. I wake. I shower. I go to admitting. They do my blood work. Then I go to the Surgery center. If the Surgery goes well, I come right back home. If not, I spend a night or two in Medical City.

And I liked Dr. Jackson, so I'll take it as a compliment.
